Left of the Line: First Podcast!

This is David Kimball-Stanley, the only contributor to the Quadcast with a hyphenated last name. I figure since everyone else is introducing themselves and their show, I should do the same.  My show is Left of the Line, and you can hear it live every Wednesday morning from 9-10:30,  or just listen to the podcast here.  Assuming this whole podcast thing works, my shows will only get better and  better as I start to feel more pressure from having more listeners.

This is your contributor speaking

Hiya!

This is Grace, your sole female contributor and fellow WRTC show host.  I thought I would show my gratitude to the fine young fellows of the Quadcast for letting me bum off of their blog and their computer space to provide the world with my Midwest Mash-up(tentative title).  I hope that listeners will enjoy my Thursday evening(9-10:30 pm although that hardly matters with podcasts) music extravaganza.  I strongly encourage any comments, suggestions, recommendations, shout-outs, or requests.  Look for my first show to be not this week but next(hopefully my dreaded African Dance performance won't get in the way) and I look forward to this new phase of my radio life!

Thanks again Quadcast-you are the loveliest neighbors a girl could ask for

Cheers!
Grace

Quaditative Contributions

Hello all, James here. I heartily concur with Ben's sentiments and would like to extend an invitation to all listeners to a) comment on our shows and b) record content for us to air on the show. Consider this a kind of "super-shout out," where you, in fact, do the shouting. You could even get all postmodern on us and shout-out to yourself. Doesn't matter (none of this matters...). Granted, this is the sort of desperate thing we'll be doing in order to survive our largely vapid and meaningless last semester of senior year; undoubtedly you'll be busy with the excitement europe, africa, etc. have to offer. But! If you happen to be on the U-Bahn, and the dude next to you starts to puke, record it! We'll totally air it.

Stay up,

James

Totally Quadified

Welcome to the Quadcast! Despite what Andrew says, we know that our readers (and listeners) are far from ignorant! But formalities and apologies aside, let's get down to business. The Quadcast is the online home for our radio program, entitled, well, The Quadcast. The show features our questionable musical taste and our even more questionable sense of humor. If you haven't had the chance yet, check out our first show, linked to in the post below. In addition to making our show available, The Quadcast is proud to bring you the excellent work of Grace Green and David Kimball-Stanley, good friends with a better sense for music than ours. Look forward to three new shows every week!
